The Yale Club of Chicago is an independent Illinois nonprofit which qualified under Internal Revenue Code Sec. 501(c)(3). We hope that Yale, including the Yale community in the greater Illinois and Northwest Indiana area, has made a difference in your life,. Yale Chicago is about making a difference in the lives of Yalies and others who live in wide territory served by Yale Chicago.

Your generous tax-deductible contributions are vital to our ability to provide programs and events throughout the year for both current students (College and graduate schools) and alumni in the greater Chicago area (which includes northwest Indiana and much of Illinois). Your contributions pay for community service programs (such as Yale Day of Service) and offset the costs for social, professional, and other events throughout the year. They also help us cover expenses for website maintenance, printing, and other costs related to operating the Yale Chicago. [We don’t do this anymore: They also enable us to award scholarships and grants.]
