Alumni interviewing and recruiting of prospective Yale undergraduates from the Chicago area is coordinated by the Greater Chicago Alumni Schools Committee. The ASCs are an integral part of the admissions process and are vital to maintaining the excellence of Yale's student body.

These six committees have over 200 ASC members who interview over 1,000 Chicago area students each year. In addition to interviewing, committee members are involved in a variety of recruiting activities, such as participating in college fairs, visiting high schools to identify top prospects, and organizing receptions for admitted and matriculating students.

New ASC members are always welcome. Interviewers are especially needed in the collar counties of McHenry, DuPage, Will, Kane and Kendall, where we are not always able to interview all the applicants.
